Compost and Mulch Analysis
The company has a long history of involvement both locally and internationally in developing advanced composting systems. Bioscience provides a range of physical and chemical analysis of potting mixes, composts, soil conditioners and mulches in accordance with AS 4419 and AS 4454.
Analysis includes:
Total Carbon and Sulfur
Extractable Nitrogen, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Coper, Zinc, and Manganese.
Heavy metal contaminants -Mercury, Arsenic Lead, Cadmium, Cobalt, Silver.
Acid Sulfate Soils SPOCAS suite (AS4969.12)
Redox Potential
Electrical conductivity and Acidity (pH)
Ash content
Water-holding capacity
Assessment and formulation of pre-planting soil treatment and fertiliser programs.
The average turn-around-time is seven working days. Analysis results come with concise interpretations and recommendations.
About 2 - 4 litres of screened compost is required for analysis. A sample volume of 5 litres is required for composts containing large fragments of raw materials.
